Any thoughts on these wheels? Seem like a good option for light race wheels. I weigh around 67kg and it would be for XC racing only.
I've heard mixed reviews of the superstar hubs, not sure whether I want to take the risk of getting these over a build with hope hubs and regualar spokes for the sake of 100-200 grams.

Not particularly light though...

Get yourself some ZTR Podium rims, A2Z hubs and Revolution spokes, similar price, mine weigh 1246g with yellow tape and valves.

wouldn't have superstar hubs if they were free.

+ reports of spokes going slack.

Oh, the other thing is these will be 29er wheels.

I built them, got the rims from Wiggle, hubs through LBS and spokes from ActionSports.

For 29ers check out the ZTR Race Gold, more expensive though. Not sure if the rims are available aftermarket.

See I can't build them myself so I have to factor that into the cost. I had a look at them and they are a little out of price range!
350 tops!

Build needn't cost that much frankly, £50 or so. Or learn to do it yourself, at least lace and tension, they get your LBS to finish.

I've replaced a fair few spokes in my road wheels, is it much harder?
