Had one in my hand on friday, lovely bit of kit. Out by the end of the week I am told. Some cool things on the horizon with Hope!

Good, I think they could easily loose their dominance if they don't keep up with growing trends and fashions.

Ooh, I want one.

Can't get one for my frame size and I haven't got a dropper post, but they're so nice!

Do you have to unthread the remote cable to get it through, or can you open the eyelet thingy somehow?

A QR version would be good. For really steep stuff I drop the post by a further inch so a non-QR collar is a pain

DezB I can vouch for Bob, he does indeed ride stuff like that. I look on and wonder how gravity seems to leave him alone whilst I fall down the baby slopes.

Looking at the pic, there's a spherical insert the cable has to go through, suggests to me that the hose needs to be split in order to fit them, but someone said that wasn't the case - how dos it work? Can the insert be split?

Looks like there is a cut out on the spherical bit to me. I'll tell you later, mine is at home waiting for me.

The guide is removeable. It has to be so you can run it on either side.

The ball that the cable runs through is split so you can insert the cable in it

Hopefully you can tell from the dogey pic but as above, the guide is removable and the ball is split:
