The ones in the 'members only area' picture? They'd look cool on my singlespeed.

They look like they might be Stooge Junker bars to me.
Never used them but they look interesting.

That's what they are.

Can't comment on yours, but they look cool on my singlespeed. And they put the bars in the right place without a gopping high rise stem. And I like the sweep. Going on for half a kilo heavier than the bars they replaced, though!

Cheers both, might be a bit too spendy for me though as bike is only a hack really. Might just have to go with a Brand X trekking bar or something...

I've had these before. https://www.bikester.co.uk/bike-parts/handle-bars-bar-ends/touring-city-handle-bars/225853.html?eqrecqid=c1ea1d02-8267-11eb-89ef-a8a159164eba

Worth a look if you don't want to roll the dice with aliexpress (not convinced by the hole drilled in the top of the bar? Bit narrower, but an nice shape for a relaxed ride. They did well for me on my SS commuter before the frame cracked and I replaced with a drop bar job. They're on the wife's town/pub/nursery run bike now. She likes.

I have Junker bars on my Stooge, look great, feel great - super wide but with big backsweep, pretty hefty!

I'd like these though! But would need to sell a bike or some body parts or both!

The Stooge bars are great and very comfortable. Pair them with a Thomson 6 bolt BMX stem and go for a cruise

Just me that thinks they look stupid and pointlessly heavy then? A 90s retro affectation.

I wanted a wide-ish (I've cut mine down) high-rise bar with a bit of sweep. I need the height on my old singlespeed for out of the saddle thrutching and my wrists and elbows like the sweep.

The ones I've seen are all in the thread above. The other 2 are lighter but even more expensive.

I'd love the Junkers to be 250g rather than 700ish, but pfff. everything else is as I want it. And the bike they're on is a 90's hardtail, SS'ed, now with rigid forks, 26+ front, hip flask cage and fancy paint, so it's just a great big affectation chariot anyway.

I posted something about it on here ages ago that got cross-posted to STW fb page and someone commented that looked as if I'd built the bike from components individually and specifically chosen to annoy them. 😀

I've just had another look at the HUMED bars, hadn't seen they were for motorbikes. I'd thought that holes drilled in them means they're weak or massively overbuilt. turns out it's b). Probably. Must be around a kilo or more?

Yeah all motorbike bars have a hole.

I think strength won't be a problem.

Lots of alloy bars on ali too.

Here you go 500g, cheaper at £13 and wider too with bolt on brace for '90s club roost go fast chic (also in black):

My singlespeed is a 2010 ragley blue pig, with rigid steel forks and 29er wheels with 28x38c schwalbe CX comps. It rides surprisingly well actually.

Could fit a bigger tyre in the back but I haven't tried to see what I can get in there yet. Should get a 1.75, maybe even a bit bigger.
