Seen those cat ear things that are designed to reduce wind noise- does anyone actually own a set and how do you get on with them?
Wind noise is a bit of a pain for sure.
Eh?*
*I really did try to think of a more eloquent way of putting this, honest.
Mine are silent but deadly.
I see lemonysams piccy, early april fool or real gadget?
I thought this was going to be about the TOGs, or those new micro barends that actually sit on the inward end of grips, bar-in-ends thumb over grips.

Real product, see my link.
In fact, above the text box for the forum reply, I now get an advert for them.....
My ears stick out a bit and I have wondered if these would help with damping the wind noise. Look stupid enough on the road bike as it is, without some fake Guy Martin sideburns stuck on!!
That has to be a wind-up !
Yep i was posting so your link showed after my question 🙂
Real deal then, causal $10 several choices up to Elite spec at $20 how many of the diy'ers on here will be busy copying them 🙂
I'll just do a comb-back with my sideburns.
They should be making few options of these.
You know: road race, audax, cx...
... 29er, enduro, fat bike...
8)
EDIT: And it would be nice to see girls using them too!
fasthaggis - MemberAlex ,that look is not going to catch on
Perfect - does anyone do a Snell/Ansi rated Top Hat?
Anyone else being bombarded with ads on the forum for these now....?
lol usual eclectic replies
btw i dont have any commercial links to them just interested in any thoughts...
Anyone with experience with other more high-tech options?
Are they for real?!
Don't want to spend $ on super sideburns...what about other options?
You really think there's a problem with wind noise? Really?
My cats use them.
My cats use them
🙂
Iolo: it is for me.
Anyone have know of options (that aren't for cats!)?
Gore bikewear windstopper headband works for me. Well, stops my ears freezing off with the happy coincidence of keeping the wind noise down.
I'm feeling a bit pathetic now - how fast do you have to go to have a problem with wind noise?
I hate wind noise while riding but mostly its the headwind / crosswind not actually the speed I'm going.
I tried these but they don't work as far as I can tell but I've kept them on as they don't look like mutton chops.
