Seen those cat ear things that are designed to reduce wind noise- does anyone actually own a set and how do you get on with them?

Wind noise is a bit of a pain for sure.

I see lemonysams piccy, early april fool or real gadget?

I thought this was going to be about the TOGs, or those new micro barends that actually sit on the inward end of grips, bar-in-ends thumb over grips.

Real product, see my link.

In fact, above the text box for the forum reply, I now get an advert for them.....

My ears stick out a bit and I have wondered if these would help with damping the wind noise. Look stupid enough on the road bike as it is, without some fake Guy Martin sideburns stuck on!!

They should be making few options of these.
You know: road race, audax, cx...

... 29er, enduro, fat bike...

8)

EDIT: And it would be nice to see girls using them too!

Gore bikewear windstopper headband works for me. Well, stops my ears freezing off with the happy coincidence of keeping the wind noise down.

I'm feeling a bit pathetic now - how fast do you have to go to have a problem with wind noise?

I hate wind noise while riding but mostly its the headwind / crosswind not actually the speed I'm going.
I tried these but they don't work as far as I can tell but I've kept them on as they don't look like mutton chops.
