Dunno if this has been posted before....

I should imagine it's going to be £££
Ill start.............£285 😀
"Available April 1, 2013"....
Is this definitely for real?!....
😆
Wait 1 year.....then buy
Who knew they made bars now too? Damn I love Thomson.
It does look lovely. However, I think it will be expensive, very expensive. Not sure if it can tempt me to wait or if I'll give in to urges and get a cheap reverb now.
Cable goes to the saddle clamp end.
Fail.
+1 for druidh...
So much neater to have it a la KS Lev.
Plus - it's likely to be megabucks even in terms of dropper posts.
I have an older ks (900i?) and am considering a switch to a KS Lev or Reverb stealth (with appropriate frame bastardising) to get rid of the damn cable saddle clamp nause. 1st April launch date aside, if this thing exists I can't see how a manufacturer of a new model wouldn't put cable position at the very top of the wish list with its designers and for that reason it would not appear on my wish list.
My LBS had some of the bars in last week, ver nice.. But £100 for alu bars is mayd...
Once upon a time Thomson and Rockshox climbed in to bed and produced the definitive dropper post 😀
And we all rode happily ever after...
...If only....if only...
Cable goes to the saddle clamp end.Fail
Agreed. Can't really see the point of it when they don't even get the basics right.
So none of you saw the price...about 390 dollars according to that website...

So with the exchange rate and adjusted for market variations, about......... £390 then?????
Looking on xe.com it turns out to be around 244 quid...
I used to be of the opinion that cable to the saddle clamp was a fail. However, after fettling the wife's bike with a standard reverb, I'm changing my mind.
With a stealth I wouldn't be able to put the bike in the work stand. With a KS Lev, you'd have to unclip the cable each time.
All I do now is compress the post and then raise the post out of the frame a bit. This allows me to clamp the slider of the post rather than the stanchion.
I'm not sure a stealth would allow enough hose slack to raise the post for the workstand.
I don't know how much bother or not is involved with uncoupling the LEV.
Still, depending on how much workstand time you have with your bike, this might not be very relevant.

About zero bother.
Flick cover off, unclip cable. Done.
You'd seriously rather have something that works better in a workstand and not so well when riding? 😯
It works better in the work stand but the wife hasn't find any issue with the reverb loop while riding.
Thanks for the info on the LEV though, that's the best answer. If only I wasn't too heavy for it!
the wife hasn't find any issue with the reverb loop while riding.
I've also got an KS950 (same kind of cable routing) and the cable isn't that annoying on a hardtail though it does catch my leg a little.
When i fitted it to a full susser i found it was constantly rubbing the rear tyre when the bike got past half travel. Either that or pushing out the other way and catching my leg...
The LEV has totaly got rid of this problem. Works a bit smoother too. 🙂
Edit.
Can't help you with your weight though. 😉

That maybe the $ to £ exchange rate. But we never get that on American priced goods do we? We pay "£ for $"
Should have put a 😉 on. 😉
Onzadog - not trying to be cheeky - what's the weight limit for the LEV - nothing I could find on the KS site about it?
Just seen it on another post - suggests 90kg limit - off to get another beer 😀
That's what I found. 90kg limit on the German site but nothing on the ks site. I've emailed them to check. I'll try and remember to post up if I hear anything back.
How much is 90kg in normal weight? 🙂
200 lbs
14 and a bit stone.
How much is 90kg in normal weight?....
....about 14 stone
I'm not far off that and my I950 and LEV have been fine.
The American price will be without sales tax do add 20% vat on to it.
