I'm having a run of bad luck with punctures at the moment and having just discovered another flat I duly took the tyre off to discover this:
The puncture is on the seam at one of the twists, done 300 miles and am thinking I should bin the tube altogether as I think it will have been considerably weakened. Or should I repair it and pretend this didn't happen? 🙄
A bit of gaffa tape will fix that & be good for another 300 miles 😉
will be fine
If the hole isnt too big you could patch up, if you put another tube in inflate it a little bit before fitting the tyre so it doesnt happen again 😉
muddy what i have done. I tryed to getto tubeless a set of DT Swiss 5.1 but it didn't work so until i can afford a proper tubeless conversion i cut a small hole in my tubes and put latex in then patched them or you could buy schwalbe tubes with the removable core. et voila
