Big Thanks go to Simon at progessive-bikes for kit and advice, Rich at Leisure lakes in Breaston for the help with the warranty swap on the swing arm.
Plus on a side note, get yourselves upto Gisburn Forest it is well worth a visit, the guys have built some excellent trails.
That looks very nice. Is that a matt finish on the frame?
looks much improved
You didn't like the Lefty? Always had a hankering for one myself, well, until two-pronged forks became better in the last couple of years.
Ahh...I see you've managed to chop an enormous amount of weight from the top tube too...
... and add a bit to the saddle height as well. 😛
What happened to your Lefty?
Why did the wing arm need replacing?
Nice bike by the way, just got one myself.
Hi all
Right, I loved the lefty, but couldn't pass up the deal on the forks.
The lefty has been sold on to another loving home, think the chap is dropping it on a gemini
The swingarm was part of a recall nothing major just an annoying creak due to a dodgy weld I think, I'd lived with it for 4 years so not that bad, but the chance of a frsh swing arm couldn't be missed
by the enormous amount of weight, you mean me don't you 🙂 think all in all I've lost about 40 grams on the build, more once I go tubeless
cheers for the comments
Right, I loved the lefty, but couldn't pass up the deal on the forks.
You swapped out a nice stiff reliable lefty, for a pair of Fox forks?
Each to their own, but I wouldn't have.
Nice bike, even the white cabling looks good - and I usually don;t like anything as flashy as that.
