Thinner anchovies?

I was saying to a pal recently that I wished they made the tubeless repair strips in a thinner version, as the standard ones are a bit thick to get through most holes - and tough carcass tyres make to difficult to widen the hole.

He told me he'd seen someone with some thinner ones.

Any idea what they might be - and where to get hold of?

We have some thin ones made by Weldtite but these are the thinnest I've seen recently Look to be the same as Peatys but a bit cheaper and you get more.

For the small ones we just use a Rapidracer, different size in each end, and carry a couple of big ones just in case

After the salt and vinegar crisp thread I'm disappointed to find out this one doesn't have anything to do with actual fish.

Awesome cheers Tracey, ordered the Nukeproof ones.

Along with a cheap tyre to get it over the free postage level.

😀

You can cut your own width requirements fron an old piece of inner tube. Just give it a good wash to get rid of the chalky internal dusting

Came here expecting this to be a thread similar to ones complaining about Creme Eggs getting smaller.

Left disappointed and with a bad taste in my mouth.

1.5mm Nukeproof ones, they are thin, same as oneup ones)

I cut strips from an old t-shirt, the sealant soaks into the cotton and makes a good seal

The Blackburn tubeless repair kit comes with quite a few pretty thin strips. I thought they looked too thin, but worked just fine. https://www.blackburndesign.com/p/plugger-tubeless-bike-tire-repair-kit/350160000100000017.html
