Not tried it before but got a bike last year so been meaning to try for a while. I'll be in seniors. Is there an opportunity to ride the course beforehand? Anyone else going?

You'll get an opportunity between races to preride the course. The biggest thing is the steep climb up past the HH logo hill. Everything else is fine - maybe the sand traps as well 😉

There's time for 2 or 3 recce laps before each race. Don't be put off by talk of scary features, everything can be done at your own comfort level.
Turn up a couple of hours before your race and ask lots of questions. It's a very friendly sport.
