So thinking of swapping from my current Spitty to something else but for the life of me can't really seem to think what I could replace it with. I love the Spitty but I'm just getting a bit bored of it and fancy something different.

Ideally looking for something that I can use for everything as I only have 1 mtb and it needs to be able to take a 160mm upfront.

save your money, change when/where you ride not the bike.

(the above advice is based on years of serial frame and component swapping - in the end it's not about the bike).

I did try a bit of that in a round about way and spent the last 4 months purely on the road bike but have now got back on the mtb as I've been itching to get back on the fun bike for ages.

Like I say I love the Spitty but just fancy a change but really struggling to think of a suitable replacement for it. The only one bike that's piqued my interest in recent months is the Knolly Warden but I don't live anywhere near a dealer so can't even test ride one to see if it'd be worth making the switch to one.

Spitfire is one of the best 140/160mm bikes around. I can't think of anything I'd be looking to swap to if it has to take 160mm forks but also do general trail riding.

When I swap bikes (around every 2 years) I try to get something different. Last two bikes were 26 inch Nomad followed by 29 inch Banshee Prime, next one likely to be short travel 650b. Change is good. Buying something really similar to that last one a bit pointless for me.

If you're itching to buy something shiny but can't find a frame you could get a DBAir or X2 shock.
