Yep. Persisting it down here in W. Yorkshire. I think I'll pour myself in to the bath when I get home 🙂

found a spare jacket...normally it would be a lifesaver but this one is useless in the wet...but better than a kick in the toshacks!

Have to say I was bit smug as I was slightly too warm cycling to work in my waterproof this morning watching people ride by in shorts and t-shirt. I am a weather forecast obsessive so was prepared. Ironically got out of work early before it really started lashing it down.

I was fine both ways. I did get wet on the way home, and my hands got a bit chilly without gloves, but meh.

I always keep a Dyfi Enduro at the bottom of my work bag and my commute lights in the pocket with the pump, tool and levers but it was seriously soaking in Sheffield this evening too. Not sure the jacket did much apart from catch the muck...

My excuse is I was too wrapped up in election this morning to have checked the forecast, so light running tights and tee seemed perfectly reasonable. I'd have probably opted for shorts and maybe the Nightvision if I'd checked ahead.

Sorry my fault. Took the mudguards off last weekend. But I paid my penance cycling home from Sheffield.

Decided to leave the useless jacket in the office. Arse pissed wet within minutes of leaving work. Got absolutely soaked. I must have hit every puddle in manchester. Still no headwind to deal with. Even now my riding kit still hasn't dried.
