Put them in a pram and go for one of the easy walks around the forest.
Kailzie Gardens is nice for a look around
At that age they won't really care much about what you are doing!

When my daughter was that age she loved shadows though leaves. So a walk in woods where the sun can creep though.

But mainly something that you and mum will enjoy together. Something that stimulates and sends baby to sleep is bonus! If baby hears you all laugh even better!

Cheers, some good suggestions.

I'm looking at a few hours riding so family things are okay but some mum and son things would be good. She's seen the pond trail but it's only 1 mile long.

We've had a few walks foiled because they ended up not being pram friendly to. We have a carrier but he's too young for one of them and my partner doesn't like wearing the front carrier.

The bike path from peebles to cardrona will drop you at nashys for a decent nice coffee in an old railways station.

It links to glentress aswell so can go from there.

Theres quite alot how far etc.

If you park at either Glentress or Peebles you can access the railway/river bike path. This is ideal for a buggy as it's mostly tarmac (as I remember?). It runs from Peebles to Innerleithen, via Glentress.

Change shitty nappies and feed.

The cycle path along the Tweed is pleasant enough and there's plenty of walking in the woods.

Dawyk gardens is fairly pram friendly i think*

Alot of the fireroads in glentress loop or can be made to loop. Upper carpark down past the green loop (i think thats worth riding btw) to the fort and loop back round to the start of the green.

You can do a walk out to manor sware on the road or. Big loop through glen sax estate** and cademuir.

If you are feeling adventurous, after a muddy patch leading to it the railway tunnel to manor is pram friendly and opens alot of nice walks that you can loop back via the manor sware, you'd need a torch.

Take a picnic up to shield green centre then come back via venlaw castle is all prammy but might get a touch wet.

Horseshoe Inn in eddlestone for food.

No.1 for coffee in innerleithen.

*Based on never having pushed a pram

**The estate might have a different name but i can't think what it is off the top of my head.

We have a carrier but he’s too young for one of them and my partner doesn’t like wearing the front carrier.

If she can get comfortable with it they are brilliant. When ours was small we used a cloth wrap one and it was not noticeable and supported the baby really well from when she was born at about 5lbs

Dawyk garden is definitely worth a visit; the majority of it is accessible with a pram and it looks great at this time of year; loads of old trees that’ll have their Autumn colour kicking in. Probably the finest multi-stemmed Douglas Fir in the country 👍

At 3 months Hoppy Jr was being taken off-road in a bike trailer. He was in an on the front carrier from pretty much the moment we started going out of the house that much.
