Going to Edinburgh next weekend with the family and was planing on slinking of for a quick bursts round Glentress. I am wondering if there is any soft play or anything that a 5 year old to do for a couple of hours in Peebles.
There's a small soft play area attached to a cafe in peebles. There is however a much bigger and better one in penicuik 10 miles away.
Sounds like a plan, cheers
If it's a nice day, there's a park by the river that I've spent hours in with my kids. You get to it from the car park on Kingsmeadows road.
And there's a cracking sit-in chippy for afterwards!
As said above soft play, it's called Busy Bees at bottom of the Northgate, further up there's a pottery/painting/café called Place to Potter, also swimming pool, sit in chippy +1.
Busy Bees is the small soft play.
There is a bigger one at Leadburn on the road to Peebles from Edinburgh.
