Need a set of, as thin as possible, grips for my daughter's new bike (her 6th birthday next week).
Non-lock on will be thinner I imagine, what's out there?

Islabikes used to do spare grips. If they are still available you won't find any thinner.

Wrap bar tape on. Double thickness if that's not too much.

SDG do a 31.8mm bar that tapers to a smaller diameter and then they do a range of smaller grips for it that are perfect for kids. I might have one of their bars in the back of the shed that was never used if you're interested and it would fit the bike. Then you just need to buy the grips.

You could even get cloth bar tape if you want barest minimum thickness.

Thanks for the replies, will have a try with bar tape.

ESI racers edge? 30mm outer diameter, you can cut it down and it's available in loads of colours.

I feel your pain.

How about treating yourself to an anodising setup? You could go a bit mental...

Brand-X lock-ons are pretty thin, my daughter has them. And colours too!

SDG bars and grips are great. Shouldn't be too hard to paint the bars purple.
