My friends bike ~
[i]MY 'Husbands' bike has just been STOLEN this evening between 5.30pm and 6pm from Spottiswoode Road, Edinburgh.
It's a customized Trek Superfly ALU 29er BLACK/RED with straight carbon bars, red grips, WHITE Selle Italia SADDLE (different to picture) and bar ends. Tyres are Specialized 1.9 renegade control tyres.
Please keep a look out for this bike in the city and on sites such as gumtree etc. Really Appreciate if you can share this post around. Many Thanks.

Going to upgrade my security systems tomorrow i think. Edinburgh is so calm and generally 'fine' but bikes are always getting bumped.

Vigilante justice! Or an invitation to get stabbed. Either way i've seen police take 3 bikes off "thieves" in Dalry this year. An 856, an Enduro and a WeThePeople.
Skatepark hit & runs & roof-rack robbing on those occasions I think.
Always starts with "Tell me about your bike sir".
Bad stuff. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Any info on how it happened? might be helpful to others.
