Time to replace the Blackspire one on my bike are they all the same now Uberbike / Superstar etc ?

Yeah I've got blackspire,on one, superstar all just as good, although race face one was lighter, it definitely wore out quicker,

They do vary with each brand, for example Wolftooth make a stainless thick thin chainring which is twice as heavy put last 5 times as long as an Alu one if believe the marketing dept.

On my bikes the Superstar one is more prone to creaking than the Works one - maybe different tolerances on the bolt holes?

Renthal have really long teeth which I find works well.

Look for ones that have been hard anodised, they usually last longer, only downside is they only come in black or that weird Goldy colour.
