$479? Are they mad?

Also, a couple of the pictures...

Sagan isn't appreciating them, has trying to hide their fugliness!

Then the Eurobike picture, trying to pretend that they were actually an exhibitor there, rather than just wheeling their bike in to take a photo..

Shonky charlatanism.

Only one person gets a set for 479 that a 60 percent reduced price!

Practically giving them away.

I enjoy the specialized on where it doesn't even fit on the back.

Great idea.

Just needs to protect the lower part of the wheels now.

Oh, and the chain.

I'll welcome the return of the all weather British roadster in a lightweight version.

More people will realise a bike can be ridden in all weathers quite comfortably once they realise that most of the wetness was sprayed on them from below and not falling from the sky.

But where's the matching cycle cape? 🙂

No cover over the rear facing quarter of the front wheel or the front quarter or the rear wheel though, which given the size of them already seems a bit daft.

But where’s the matching cycle cape?

Matching hunchback makes up for it.

I know this is kind of missing the point, but those would not be legal in a UCI sanctioned race would they? (fairings are expressly prohibited, and there are limits on mudguards)

Forget those. As soon as they gain UCI approval (any day now, I'm sure), I'm getting myself one of these. When it comes to wet weather, you can never be too careful.

Do you have to take them off if you start riding with the wind? What effects do they have on tailwinds?

Given the price and looks*, let alone UCI illegality, they are a dead duck.

The idea is a good one IMO, assuming the speed gains are true (I saw no reference to testing in sidewinds)

Haterz gone' hate tho.

Do you have to take them off if you start riding with the wind?

You could say that about any directional aerodynamic aid.
