So, I just cannot stop my recently built Kinesis Aithein road bike from creaking when pedalling under load....
So far I've checked...
Chainset and bb (new ones fitted)
Rear quick release
Headset
Seatpost & saddle
Rear quick release
Cassette tight
Stem/bars
Pedals / cleat
Any other thoughts?
Chainring bolts.
Chain
Rear mech
Front mech
Your knees
Rear hanger?
Spokes?
Rear hub
Seat post in the frame even when out of the saddle
Saddle rails
Knees / hips?
Just greased everything (well, I heard hairspray is good for fixing a carbon seatpost on the seat post/frame interface) you guys mentioned and a bit of cake in the absence of anything for my knees 😉
A few sprints up the hill out the front door and I seem to have cured it. Fingers crossed! Will ride it to work tomorrow for a proper test out.....
