Thinking of organising a trip along the Two Moors Way with my brother, taking the bikes, camping while also packing a small fly rod each to try on Dartmoor through the angling passport, and some streams on Exmoor (I am a member of Dulverton)

Anyone completed the route? Seen a few write ups and most seem to spend 3 days and 2 nights doing this, may take a day longer if we intend to do a spot of fishing though.

I did it a couple of weeks ago, a great route.

2 days, 2 nights. 1 bivi near drogo, one above Minehead, so I guess 1.75 days really. I was pushing it a bit, so a leisurely 3 days sounds about right. Really depends if the fish are too lazy to bite I guess!

After a long hot ride through central Devon, the cool water of Tar steps was a great relief!

Excellent, I'll have to give it a go then in September, before the end of the fly fishing season.

Wild Swimming could be a treat if the weather is hot, plus a pub at Tar steps.

I do have the Wild Guide that recommends some wild camping sites, so will have to look through there.
