Well it's been a longer process than I imagined (so far), but when money's involved it has to be! We've submitted the Charity Commission Registration for The Trail Pot.
We have skilled Trustees in place. We have a constitution. We have declarations of legitimacy and exciting things like that. We have a website. We have businesses asking how they can support us.
Now we wait for the charity to be approved and we can get a bank account and start bringing money in....and sending it out!
I truly believe this could be a big thing for mountain biking - I'm nervous - I've never founded a charity before, but I genuinely believe thetrailpot can set so many projects in motion it'll change things for the better. Fingers crossed!
Will try and remember to keep an eye on your developments, but don't mind the odd reminder. When you're up and running, will be happy to donate
