'Check yer bad selves'

This week we are on the move to different pastures.

Perhaps GT or Inners... who knows...

Can we assemble enough vehicles and people to make it down to play?

Usual scenario - leave town at 6 to ride for 7ish after menergy gels and car park suspension testing and brake pad noise drill.

Jimmy has a new Yeti, this could be it's first outing! Nice.

All those in favour?

Won't make it down there for yon time, what with nippin' off early this week to arrange some TBC bike-love...

(having some sweaty climbing action up the Pents tomorrow if anyone fancies it, btw...)

Quite possibly, I was the class clown in the pentlands tonight, including not stopping at the bottom of a descent and crashing into the back of my mate... 😳

Any lifts free?

I was going to take my car but figure I might as well get a lift. As I see it so far;

Debaser +2
Chickenman +3
AntM +1

Kit, 13thFM, TBC, Myself, Coogan(?) for lifts from TBC@6pm.

Not forgetting Coastkid + Stanfree from EL.

All good?

I'll be there - probably with one other and have room for another body + bike on roof. I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm needed at TBC.

How about Inners: am looking forward to having a Psychiatric nurse on hand to talk me into doing those Caddon Bank drop-offs like I used to when I was young......
Now we just need the A+E nurse....

I was heading for Innerleithen anyway but the gang have cried off so I can take two if need be. I don't really want to fight the traffic in to and out of town so if anyone wants a lift from the west of Edinburgh I can oblige.

Off to the pub shortly so best to call me on zero double seven eight nine 874900.

TBC - no repeat performance. Unfortunately. Well, unless work ****s things up...

stu - I'm down Leith at work and need to fit other stuff in first. You defo need a lift? If so I'll see what I can do.

No don't worry about it - was only if you were leaving from your flat - not 100% sure if I can make it yet anyway and a bit knackered from Dumyat last night 🙂

I have the Uglipla, so can manager another 3/4 riders but I don't intend coming all the way across town on the way back. So, if you're in the South/West of Edinburgh and fancy a lift, post here to let me know.

Managed to make a couple of pints vanish at the T Arms! Nice.

Ian buggered his ankle but manned up well. Looks red...

Thanks all for making the trip. 20 bodies-best yet!

Think a 'bring a hip flask' night next wednesday is in order for PLands. Find an unmidged spot and relax in the hills then sprint home.

Great ride - what a cracking descent. Rather clammy too.

Thanks to Colin for his patience and reminding me how to put a tube in a tyre!

Here's the video from Minch Moor down: frame mounted-but its pretty poor quality in the shaded spots and dont bother watching from any further than 5 mins in- it was just too dark for the camera to cope.

Serves me right for buying a cheap camera 🙁

Comments on the lack of skilz most welcome!

Surprisingly well once i stopped using those disc brake wipes alasdair was giving me!

Got a sympathetic receptionist on the phone at work who obviously didn't like the sound of me oozing blood all over the office so got the day off to heal (and watch fussball + listen to Funky 16 Corners) 😀

Day of work for a dodgy ankle?! Wuss. But on the other hand, it's a smashing day for healing in the back garden.

Me and Huw very much enjoyed that- what a nice bunch of guys!

Sorry we were a bit antisocial- neither of us have hit dirt in a long time and had to get it out of our systems a bit.

I'll sort out the photos I got soon, but I think most of them are utter bobbins I'm afraid.

That red light on your camera really spooked me coming of the Minch Moor. I just looked up at one point and that was all I could see. Took me a couple of seconds before I saw you holding the camera 🙂

Oi! I took the day off as a public service, would you really want your hospitals designed by someone who was sitting at his desk slowly seeping blood all over his suit? Thought not.

Was a lovely day to 'heal' on though... 😀
