Um, well, it wasn't particularly RD, not that bit. Every moving part stopped moving - mind you, walking for a couple of miles warmed my feet up... There was so much mud that even the 3 miles home on the road was touch and go! Thank you for your sympathy 🙂

It was just way too icey for the descent though so I turned back and down through the forest (the tree cover kept the ice levels a bit more sane!)

I took some local riders round a pretty massive loop on the coast and the first valley inland. We started around 10am and finished about 6:30pm in the dark. Very enjoyable but they'd have probably preferred it if it was 10km shorter!
