Don't forget that on Sunday it's the Rake Hillclimb. It kicks off at 12. Its always good to come and watch mad roadie loons beast themselves up there for no good reason that I can see. Its far more fun riding down it, but they won't be told

So bring your cow bells and come and shout ALLEZ ALLEZ!!!! at the nutters before they keel over sideways and then throw up over the wall at the top. Then give the person next to you a knowing nod as you rejoice in your own far more sedintary lifestyle and far better gearing options. You won't catch me me throwing up over a wall on a Sunday afternoon. Well... maybe in my younger more carefree days, but that had nothing to do with riding up a bloody big steep hill too fast. Maniacs!
We'll be up at the Top in the Shoulder of Mutton car part with the Lancs Road Club guys. Come and say hello and maybe buy a raffle ticket to win a big print. I'd forgotten that I had 4 of the pink Stoodley Pike prints done and this one has materialised. The last of the four. You could have this on your wall. Its a metre wide, all mounted and framed in a nice black chunky frame

I could have done a 2 stage in Sunderland or 2 separates in Teesside or 1 in Scarborough (and then back up to the second Teesside one) on Sunday gone.
I didn't throw up once either on the 2 I did do.
