PLEX MOSS LANE, in Lancashire, part of the TPT, route 62, its an actual real road, not a byway or bridleway, and after numerous emails to the councillors and council it has been resurfaced .

Wow, that road has really sunken.

With the recent road investment, longstanding potholes should be a thing of the past.

Hahahahahaha. [cough]utter bollocks[/cough]

This country has the sort of perfect storm of rubbish weather (which knackers the roads, especially winters where the temperature drifts between about -2 and +1°C), woefully low road maintenance budget linked to a very patchwork approach to fixing things, high traffic volumes and a network of infrastructure largely buried under roads (thus necessitating digging them up every few months) that means it will never have a decent road surface.

I've just come back from a week's road riding in Portugal and for one of the poorest countries in the EU with no real economy to speak of, their roads are brilliant. Perfect tarmac, super grippy, not a ripple in it. Bliss.

Thought it was due to be done by August? That would be optimistic.
