We stopped off just outside of Frejus last night and set off this morning to ride to the Azur Bike Park. Bit of a disappointment as all the DHs were overgrown or disappeared so we decided to do some of the Roc dAzur trails. Spent the afternoon picking some of the more technical stuff that's in that area. Loads of xc teams out on the trails

Thanks @jimmy748 - I really enjoy trying to capture a ride in just 1 or 2 quality pics - less is more sort of thing. Always easier when the backdrop is pretty iconic 🙂
Gunnison - passed through before (on way to Crested Butte) but made it a destination this trip.
This is all I've got I'm afraid! Rubbish in the skatebowl down the road from the office. Spent lunch time riding there and back to practice dropping in with a little hop in. Can do it, but puts my nerves on edge.
Since discovered via youtube there's easier ways to drop in that a little hop.

I only really get out for the club's midweek evening rides during school holidays, so tonight was a rare treat. The last evening ride of the year with any actual daylight in it.

Back in my Italy office, 5 miles along the sea front, 1 hour climb to the top, followed by a 9 minute 1,500ft descent, then back along the coast road home, quick shower and out for dinner.
It rained all afternoon and night yesterday so didn’t get out, it’s all made of rock round here so fortunately no real mud tonight just the odd little puddle.
Not as muddy as I thought it would be out there, but there's a lot of water going through the river...

From Weds. Slippy as a very slippery thing lightly greased and served on glass! 10 degrees warmer and 100% sketchier than last week. Been rodding it down since then so next outdoor ride will be the annual hungover Classic Gap on the 27th. Hardtail for the first time. So that'll be, er, entertaining.

Monday evening, hour and a half on the SS HT, keeping off the mud and mincing down steps instead ... this time last year I was nursing a broken finger from having overcooked a take off on one flight of steps, so was taking it very easy.
And a quick hour between showers on Wednesday on the gravel bike ...

Two weeks ago it was GSD (Greasy Snot Death) on our local trails. As muddy as I've seen for quite a few winters. Last night it was nearly all dry with even the mud being of the not splatter-y sort. Like summer except for it being dark. Wasn't even cold. Fantastic ride followed by a beer.
