I signed up this morning. But still no info regarding the route, the feed/water zones etc... How was it previously?

It's my first time, as my wife's b'day normally happen on the weekend of the event - this year it's on Wednesday!

If you're there: I'm on 29er Merida bike with white Manitou forks (easy to spot - reversed arch) and blue A1 helmet! 😀

I did it 2, maybe 3 years ago, it was pretty epic but good fun 🙂

That looks pretty much like the riding I used to do whilst at Plymouth Poly in the late 80s/ early 90s.

I rode the route as back marker marshall.

Hopefully everyone had fun, we had a few issues with arseholes moving signs which sent riders the wrong way across Lee Moor and the Plymvalley, but think it went ok.
The Moor was very wet, but it is Autumn. Cann was a blast, and the climb up to Dewerstone was the usual pain fest.

I thought it was surprisingly dry considering the rain we've had this week and Saturday.

First time on this... Really good event. Thought the signposts were great but got lost a little right at the end.

The swamp was aptly named. But second half especially was quick and dry ish considering rain.

Bike currently indistinguishable due to mud though. Really might have to wash it.

Great vibe too - no numpties just people riding bikes having fun.
