😆 how ****in pathetic does he look on that bike!!! 😆

I tell you, it reminds me of when I was a kid struggling to ride my dads big bike!! 😆
I think the industry is having a laugh at all the under 6 footers! 😆

Are you seriously saying that anyone under 6 ft shouldn't ride a 29er ? At 5'8" , riding mtb's since 1990 and currently riding an Anthem 29er you'd think I'd know better 🙄

Good job he's a very good rider but yes the midget does look comical on a 29er and I'm sure he'd agree.

The bikes are not big. My 29ers saddle height from the ground is exactly the same as my old 26er as is the handlebar height off the ground. I'm no higher off the ground than I was on my 26er.

I've got a collection of 1870s to 1900s cycling magazines, and they are fascinating reading.

The 26" riders sound remarkably like the Ordinary (Penny Farthing) riders spouting off about safety bikes (ie current shape bikes).

I'd be more worried about that awful helmet.

Except that 29" bikes are exactly the same as 26" bikes just with a slightly different wheel size. I'm sure 29ers are great and I can imagine there are some (very minor) advantages in certain situations, but it's all just a bit 'emperor's new clothes' for me - and seemingly a lot of other people.
