You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Whether it's just the long weekend or a bigger trip, let's post some biking pics. 👌
We're off islandeering in Argyll for a few days... 😃
Gravel and road in Turkey. First time riding in shorts and t-shirt this year.

Enjoy. Are you out in the van..
We are out in the Peak and it's banging it down. First time in 10 years we are without Fin and today's walk was a bit emotional.
Bikes are packed and hopefully can get Kevin back out on some easy stuff. 12 weeks till our Alps trip and not sure if he will be ready

Finally got a break in the weather so I had a Great Friday with a solo 100km mainly gravel ride.

Took way too many photos...

@tracey - I hardly dare ask, but what happened to Fin? 🙁
I'm going to cheat and post some stuff from 3 1/2 days riding in Malaga over the last weekend. As it's grey, cold and so very very wet at home.

That's Tom the guide, quite handy on a bike!

Semi shuttled. Over 3 1/2 days rode just under 100km, climbed 2000m, descended 5000m 🙂
If you're seriously starved of Easter entertainment then I've three videos on my YT Channel (or "moob-tube" as I think of it 🙂 )
Day 1:
Day 2:
Day 3: https://youtu.be/nVmt0u0MFFw?si=3W-ixDshpfiNNqDc
I wish I was back riding this, not heading out tomorrow for a day of Forest slop!

Up at 4:30 and a quick coffee, met my friend at 5am, stanage pole for 5:50am, home by 6:15am then 5 mins at 5 degrees in the cold plunge 😃😃😃😃😃
@bikerevivesheffield - any comments from the neighbours about a weirdo taking photos of your street last weekend? We were in your neck of the woods and visited our old house....
Oh 🙁 that's really sad. Clearly a brilliant dog tho. You know you're likely to outlive your pets but it never stops it being a total bugger.
my only fee day is Monday and the forecast is abysmal ☹️ Very unfair to post pictures from warmer & drier places!
i may just service my forks instead
I'll come back @kimbers and post my 'Alex cosplaying a swamp monster' pics after tomorrows ride!
Nah. Yet another cold/chest infection, ground is grinding paste porridge, windy and there's a heap of DIY and chores around the house, car and bike servicing. Jeez, since when has concrete been £11.50 a bag?? I can't keep up....
Off to Northumberland tomorrow afternoon with wife, youngest(17) and dog, for a week. An area we go to regularly and a nice comfy house in Lucker. Would normally take gravel bike and do 3 or 4 early rides before everyone else surfaces however looking at the weather forecast I’m currently undecided ….Loading up towbar rack and bike to drive there and back in the rain and not use it …
That was slow, exhausting, soul sucking drudgery. Felt like I was going backwards everywhere. The last 20 minutes was in torrential icy sleet. Two completely different groups of people laughed at me and told me to buy an e-bike because everyone else has got one.
Only slightly better than being at work.

Almost took a bath in this one.

More Turkish road and gravel, 100km round trip to the beach🥵

I rode at Pitfichie for the first time in a while and my god it has gotten rough. I was really struggling to keep any flow going and was beginning to think I'd forgotten how to ride. From this year's times on Strava it looks like everyone is struggling 😀.
No photos as the uploader won't work with my phone any more and the photos ain't worth going on Flickr 🤷♂️

Was just a short local flat ride while the sun was out, really nice to be out & didn't have any kind of plan, just ambling around. Saying hello to wee lambs and telling them how tiny and cute they are! And did a bit of "talking to my phone camera like a tw*t" to promote the fundraising I'm doing for a charity ride in June. (I feel like a right pillock doing it, but it does help.) Found a brand new freshly tarmacked bit of shared-use path that I didn't know about - not even finished yet, there was a little steam roller further up still doing it! Not sure what to do tomorrow, am off up north (Moray) on Sunday so a change of scenery.
Aaaaaargh!
Gotta love my home town...

From the Doward side of the Wye (dry in a few parts) out the valley and over to Dowies (wet and muddy in all parts) and then made our way back on the driest trails we could find. First 1000m+ climb day for a while and I think I'll feel it tomorrow - some proper slogging.
But sun was out, loads of garlic bordering the trails and slithery fun on the downhills.
Glorious spring day, shirts and t-shirt weather.
Supposed to be the same tomorrow, out on the road bike ☺️
Plan was - 4 days, 4 different types of rides on 4 different bikes. Day 1 didn't happen, day 2 and just managed to snatch a 2hr 16mile/2000ft ebike ride. Tomorrow has been scuppered doing a favour for a mate. Hopefully get out on the HT or the gravel on Monday

Nan Beild with mrsfoo and the boy

Trying out the Fara F/Gravel for review. Tyres are shockingly bad for current conditions so had some comedy moments but was great to just ride in short sleeves
Absolutely belting day out in the sun with @hardtailonly of this parish and a few others
There was even some dust (and some bits of mud, but that didn't spoil it!)

Great day out in the Peak. Sun was out, trails were a bit wet in places. Not many out on bikes.
Kevin was under instruction that rides still needed to be non technical and this was his first venture off road since July last year. It was so good to see him with a big grin after last years accident.

Cracking day out on bikes. Beaches chilled on. Hills climbed. Gardens visited. Ice creams all round. First sunburn of the year.
Isn't riding bikes just bloody brilliant!
Having a blast in and around Blaenau Ffestiniog 👍🏼 🐕 🌲🚵🏼 🏔️

Quick gravel type ride (on a 27.5+ do it all hardtail mind) to explore the old WW2 airfield up on the hill (well, what passes for a hill round here). Lived here 8 or 9 years and never really been up there before (access is not totally 'public'). Found the old control tower (half crack den, half cool urban exploration site) and some other bits.
Had a play in the old quarry on the way home.
Snuck in a sneaky early 40km ride with lad #1 and a mate. "Discovered" a missing link road that gives me a great new option.

Loving these pics. As TAFASTR says, riding bikes is bloody brilliant.
Last 6-8 months hasn’t been great for riding for a whole load of reasons. It was so nice get out yesterday. Nothing epic but I don’t half ache today!

guess this might be tin foil hat related, but seemed apt for me on an early morning ride. Suns playing hide and seek again, but it's dry!
Mate got a new camera so took mine out too....
Basically 3 hours of this...

Pic above is my mate riding up Tagg Lane on a jolly road jaunt in the Peak this morning
2nd Ride on my new bike - Foggy Eastern Moors loop - was /just/ starting to lift when I finished

The Pentland hills just south of Edinburgh.
2nd day of riding in the Peak for us. No sun and a bit breezy but it's always good to be out in the hills

Finally got out today. Conditions surprisingly good.

Glentress a bit busier on sunday due to the holidays. Track up to the mast was a bit of a slop fest

Yeah, as above. It had it's moments but mostly a knackering bogfest

Forecast was wrong all weekend, but had a very pleasant ride in the forest with MrsReady

Now customary wine gum stop with my youngest out on our bikes!

Jnrs first Welsh trail centre…. He loved it
Yesterday morning gravel/mud ride in the sunshine - around Falkirk area. Riding again tomorrow and not expecting the same conditions…

Took an hour away from the lambing shed to give the dogs a run up the hill behind the farm.

Tour of Flanders sportive on Saturday. First time I've done 100 miles in a few years.

I always take the mountain bike on out regular Lakes trips, but sick of riding through soup I took the road bike for the first time instead. I had a really nice, leisurely pootle in glorious sunshine on the quiet lanes around Greystoke and didn’t need hosing down when I got back

First TT since January 2019. Went fixed too for our West London Combine 10, rescheduled to Hillingdon closed circuit. Very pleased with third. Less pleased with the speed. Might even get the mtb out soon!

Bike Park Wales with my nipper

Out yesterday round Hebden, no pics though. A doorstep ride today trails are a boggy/slimy mess TBH. Roll on summer (If there is such a thing these days)
On the plus side spotted my first Bluebells of the season 🙂

Another day and W2 done with Jnr. Final day today.

Still the Easter holidays for me. Spin round the local Thursday morning with a bit of scouting out potential new trails tacked on.
