I entered this last night.
It was £84. I don't mean to play up the stereotypical tight Scot but kin' hell!
I'd be hoping to get pushed up the Dukes for that kind of money, or mibbes an artisan tweed cap nestling beside my foie gras in my Cafe Du Cycliste musette.😁
There was a lot of moaning on FB about another expensive gravel event nr Dumfries, usual comments about 'the latest fad' etc etc but I think what both events have in common is that they're two day events with a sort of festival vibe?
Isn't thrre entertainment and food laid on etc at Duke's?
How much is Grinduro?
Has the Fair City (Perth) Enduro dropped its price now that they’ve got the normal number of entries? Otherwise they are taking £75 a pop for a couple of hours around Kinnoul/Deuchny which really is taking the proverbial
Based on absolutely nothing about the events or the pricing for such events, could these be 'high' as they have higher costs to cover due to the pandemic and all that?
Aware that once a price is set at X and people pay that price, it never drops down again, but I'm guessing that part of the higher cost (if it is higher as I've no idea what it was before) might be to cover higher running costs...
£42 a day, not expensive.
You'd think he'd be lying low a bit tbh.
Has anyone on here done it before? What's it like?

Isn’t day 1 just the hill climb? If it’s practice then it’s still pretty steep as the course is a fairly standard gravel ride around the area

Perth was reduced to around 200 entries iirc, so yes the costs had to be picked up by the smaller number (usually around 500) at the time.
