Not bothering to wash the beast after each couple of rides has meant the weight has got ludicrous thanks to mud.
I've left it out in the rain this morning with the odd squirt of washing up liquid and now the upper drive looks like the lower Amazon in full sluggish flood.
Seriously there must have been a kilo just in the inverted U section downtube, and the Hunt Aero Lights certainly weren't either.
God, I'm bored.

Mine doesn't tend to get muddy as such, but I find a quick rub with some soap in the shower every morning keeps it clean....

I wouldn't recommend a squirt of washing-up liquid & leaving it out in the rain!!

I used to leave my singlespeed in the car, joys of putoline meant it only needed maintenance once in a blue moon. One particularly cold winter......

Ride, freezing cold so mud splatters up then freezes on the downtube.

Into the car, defrosted, mud dropped onto the floor.

Repeat weekly for 5 months.

There was grass growing in the boot by Easter!
