Aiming to build up a bike for next year and spread the cost. I realise there are sales on bike components all year round but looking for some general rules of thumb.
Best time to buy complete bikes and frames generally seems to be around end of summer/early autumn when previous year's models are being sold at a discounted price.
How about the likes of fork manufacturers and Shimano MTB groupsets? Is there a particular month / season when bargains on last year's models appear?
