As it's christmas/winter I've stripped my 26" QR 150mm Dual air RS Revelations down and give them an oiling, grease up all the o-rings to keep them soft and replace the seals.

When I came to strip the dual air spring, I noticed there's a washer that's out of shame and apparently been bent:

I've seen you can buy an entire kit of parts that include this washer, but as everything else is working a treat (holds air/oil) and the kit is about £30 delivered, does anyone know how I can acquire just this one bent part, or what the dimensions are so I can try to find an alternative?

I would have just bent it back to shape, but it looks like it's actually been stretched.

I'd be wondering why it's done that and would probably just replace the lot to be on the safe side!

Yep - you need to identify the root cause not just the symptom 🙂

But once root cause is found and fixed I'd probably just reshape the washer and refit it.

Apologies if this is totally wrong (my work browser settings mean I can't see the pics).

You're not referring to the 'wavy washer' that rockshox forks have are you?

I know there's one in my solo air rebas in the air spring assembly........

The wavy washer (which is split) is still fine and in tact. The washer above that (in the negtive piston side base plate) look like it's been hung over the edge of a table and pushed down on.

The inside of the leg is score free, and because it's a captive washer (in that black/white plastic assembly) I think I must have just installed it incorrectly last time.

I can see the pics now! Apologies for judging you by my own standards.

By the way (I'm sure Loco can tell me) WTF does the wavy washer do? I'm in no way mechanically minded (other than a bit of common sense), but I still cannot figure out what it is for.

Ah you're my hero!.

The wavey washer is just to spring load one of the parts to eliminate play. Seems like it's just so the tolerances aren't so tight when fitting the circlip in the bottom of the air spring
