oooof
qsf on the front after a crash they are so mean 🙂
this is mental already
the camera motor pacers !
i do like a sunken road

i get the impression that this is really pushing along - quite some pace
looks like they are pedaling through treacle 🙂
Marcus flat chat into the Arenburg 👍👍👍👍🥊☄️
the breakaway is like a teen horror movie one by one they disappear 🙂
Sad to hear about the Crelan rider being taken to hospital 😞
And did I hear Thomas has abandoned?
Sounds bad about the team mate of van aert, cpr and defibrillator before helicopter to hospital
Yep! Thomas has abandoned after a crash.
well ?
wtaf
pity he couldn't have taken WvA with him
another nasty crash on a wide smooth road !
oh this is beautiful. Sagan has forced everyone's hand
peter's going to have to do it all on his own! the other two are spent
Van Aerts riding well...
Didnt expect Sags to go off the front and get away with it.. can he hold on 🤷♂️
though infighting behind is working in his favour
it's amazing at the end of a grueling race how closely matched the riders are on the flat.
wrong key 🙂
What!!!!!!
Mancrush on Sagan
Hope he got the correct torque
Is that the new futureshock he's having trouble with?
Going well isn’t he 👍
bad luck for Wout 🙁
another tense classic !
petes steering ison the way out !
Well then..
I really didn’t expect to see Sags win. I thought he’d be marked all the way through.
Great ride by Dillier, to be out there all day and finish second is a superb achievement.
Enjoyed that, a lot.
Pleased for Sagan - a "proper" win that, taking the initiative and battering on. Dillier did really well, not even totally dropped in the final sprint
Is that the new futureshock he’s having trouble with?
(I wondered if he was messing with a lockout at one point)

Oh, hadn't heard about the lad having an arrest. Fingers crossed there
And WTF happened to Kung - looked like his pedal came off except it was still attached afterwards. Surely he can't have such a weird action that he unclipped on the downstroke ?
awww shit - Goolaerts has died according to Eurosport
Oh shit.
Thats very sad news indeed. 😞😳
Amstel Gold Race tomorrow
Good finish in Amstel.
Now enjoying some classic wipeouts in Tro Bro Leon - definitely on my list of routes to ride!
OK result given that it wasn't Valverde, but any one from Astana still deserves a big asterix against their name. I don't even know I can be bothered watching Fleche Wallonne this week, except praying it's not Valv Piti.
another good race
Did anyone catch Tro Bro Leon coverage after Amstel? That looks as hard, if not harder than Paris Roubaix. I'd heard about it but never realised how difficult that parcours was. Like Strada Bianca, maybe we will these mixed surface races gain more prominence and world cup points.
I think some fellow forumites are doing it this year (have done it?)
Yeah loved it, it’s like the roads I ride on (used to, don’t ride anymore)
Yeah, another favourite of mine.
Shall be fixed to the sofa watching it.
Don't mind if Valvpiti wins, as long as there is a new face up there in 2nd/3rd. I would love the see a break from50ks out and stay, but sadly those days are long gone.
Its quite clear that this years Classics (and I guess many other editions) have been characterised by a fairly large group of favourites marking each other out. Amstel being a good example. Does the collective think that in the Flèche, as in other minor classics, this is less of a feature and actually results in more exiting racing?
I still can't see beyond Valverde winning especially as the team seem to be targeting the race now for a record number of wins.
Also, as a slight hijack, did anyone ride the Two Bro Leon sportive and would they mind if I PM'd them for info?
Thanks
No Flèche Wallonne Eurosport coverage today? Or am I going blind?
Edit: now found highlights scheduled for later, but nothing live?
It was showing as live yesterday... Althuogh I've onoly scheduled to watch the highlights anyway.
live on eurosport 1 at the moment (though i watch the dutch stream as it doesn't have ads and I can't understand the commentator drivel)
impressive crowds on the Huy 🙂
teams are testing moviestar resolve, looks like they are prepared to work!
ffs it’s a Eurosport Plater problem! It came on straight after the Alps stage, but now there’s no way back to it 😕 (I foolishly moved to another room)
Edit: Now that the Croatia programme has started I can see Flèche - very slick service!
letting nibbles go up the road has got 'em nervous moviestar have some allies that Huy climb is a real brute ! ! like 🙂
MikelLanda super demestique for Valverde, does that mean he's been acquired to support Quintana in the Grand Tours too ?
blimey you don't see that very often nibbles dropped on a descent !
bloody qsf 🙂 brutal effort !
Slowly turning into a quickstep fanboi - can’t seem to help myself at the moment! Been an Alaphilippe fan ever since Tony Martin took him on a 200km 2-up TT the day after he had beasted himself through the mountains, so happy to see him get it.
(we are doing spoilers yeah??)
Good result, nice to see Valvpiti tamed - any chance he'll retire soon?
Caught the last 11k.. odd they let Nibbs go up the road, then to see him falter..
The Huy was a great sight, sad to see the break didn’t stay until the end.. but my predictions this year have been way off 🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️

We rode Tro Bro Léon - I'm happy to give my thoughts on it.
Oh please do 👍👍👍👍👍🤩
some fleche pics

Shall I have a prediction ?
Since this is PhilGils last year, I’m going for him.. in a break with 20k to go... 🤷♂️🤩
I didn’t get to see it live and now there doesn’t seem to be any coverage in Eurosport’s “on demand”. Anyone know where I can find more than the 3 mins on YouTube?
Oh and what’s this Valvpiti?
Piti was the name of his pet dog found on blood bags in Italy, when he used to dope, which he doesn't do anymore as he's really fast and really old and doesn't need to to beat all them youngsters
G looks strong !
LOL letting QSF onto the front of the chasers 🙂
the quick step floors show!
Good race, well deserved win
Caught the last 10k, good effort Bobby.. nice to see a nice guy win.
