I rode an amazing new event a few weeks back. Bikepacking from Turin to Nice over the Alps. I've written a lengthly old blog about it here that some of you may be interested in.
Great, well written blog. Bookmarked to read the rest later.
Fancy doing this as it caught my eye this year, may have some questions once I've read it!
Saw this and seems a great event. I did the transcontinental last year which went over the strada dell'assietta which was amazing. Might put this on the to do list if it's a regular event. Don't have the time to do the multi week ones anymore.
Thanks for posting, the blogs well written,I'll read more of it later.
I wondered about this event after seeing some images from it on FlickR.
FOMO indeed!
I enjoyed the blog, something to aim for in 2018.
It were a reet good blast. Fantastic route. Fantastic scenery. Fantastic weather and most of all fantastic people. Cheers!
I am pretty sure James is running it again roughly the same time next year
Great stuff

Sure that's Bikepacking? Looks more like touring
Who cares. It's riding a bike for several days with some stuff to allow you to be independent to the level which you choose. Whatever you call it, it is dammed good fun and beats sitting here with a broken femur discussing the meaning of words.
That was scrawled half way up the Finistre iirc 😆
Happy mending Dan
