Fair enough, you come up with the idea of some 'local'* boy holding a sword to advertise the forthcoming battle in the highlands. Not a great idea, but worth a shot.

But surely when the photos come back looking so utterly woeful, someone would have the balls to say "No, that's just cringingly embarassing, let's find another angle"

Credit to Danny, the expression on his face suggests he knows just how toe curling it looks.

Does every advert for something in Scotland have to have a kilt and some bloke with a big sword...

* (yeah, I know)

The pic they used in the Evening News looked like someone had flicked his off switch. But this is a fine tradition of fort william terrible promos, remember "downhill rock and roll"?

All credit to Danny for his riding skills.
But whenever I see a picture of him, I can't help but think he looks like one of my ne'er do well GCSE Students who has popped out for a bike ride. How old is he now? Because he still looks 16!
...and why has he got his neck brace on in the photos. It just looks daft!

Never mind the implications, that's just a very bad photo.

It appears that the hysterical commentator at the end of the [Chapery?] world cup win was correct as well... 😆

why anyone would use Danny Hart in their advertising campaign at all (unless it was FF on, giving it full beans down some amazing track) amazes me. Incredible talent, but a face for radio.

Peaty did almost exactly the same thing years ago when he was on Orange, promo shot from Arthur's seat etc. Agree terrible photo though from a creative POV. Should have removed the stupid orange beanie. even a snapback would have been an improvement.. (still love you though Danny xoxox)
