Don't get me wrong - I think Jordie is an utterly incredible rider. What he does is insane and the progression in the sport over the past ten years, pushed by riders like Jordie, is amazing. But I just don't get excited by [i]man-does-jump[/i] videos anymore.
I was watching AF2 just thinking 'that would be an incredible still shot' over and over again. Give me kiss-me-quick, one frame of fame. Something to put on the wall. But as a movie? Meh.

The riding is amazing but, as usual, I find slo-mo incredibly boring.
Great riding in the video, I've never been hugely into the dirt jumping stuff though even when he collective or seasons were new!
I find the trail riding stuff is my equivalent of stoners S&M midget porn fix.......

I'm missing some Sweary Northerners vids. - I always enjoy them because it's the sort of riding that I most like to do.
The fact that most of the time they're better than me seems to make it even cooler.

There needs to be an stw "edit", with some middle aged, mildly overweight, middle class mincers turning up with their audis and santa cruzes, then mincing round a red route, complaining about their tyres not being up to the job before abandoning down an escape route for a coffee and to start a tyre thread on here.

I love the action and genuinely feel goosebumps looking at it. But the video could have been one third the length and lost nothing. Still a lot better than most of the videos on the homepage from Fort William though. And the photo galleries were pants. I Just go to Pinkbike now.
