Thinking I might venture to glentress tomorrow for the first time in ages. Would like to end it with a nice coffee and cake. Can someone remind me of the name of the cafe within riding distance that's not the big shed thingy?

Don't think so, there's no shops there.

I'd pop to the one in Inners, No1 Cafe. It's blooming awesome. Not much seating, but they make the best coffee his side of the continent.

Drive to Alpine bikes, and it's about 10 shops up on the left.

Shame the inners cafe makes such a small coffee and provides the slowest service I've ever experienced for such a small place (and it's not cheap or even averagely priced)

Yes, in the old railway station - unsure of opening times/days though.

Yep, cardrona village store has a very good cafe. Whistle stop at Innerleithen seems to being passed over now in favour of the new one, but I'd go there everytime. Great wee place.
