I was all set (barring any test ride issues) on my next, next bike - to be purchased some time this autumn/winter as the Cube Stereo 140 HPC TM, with it's Fox factory 36/dpx2 loveliness and 'long but not crazy long' and 'slack but not crazy slack' geometry.

Damn you Commencal.

Fox Factory 34 and factory float rear (tbh the 36's are probably overkill for me), the Meta TR is currently at £3300 ish RRP (on current euro to GBP rate) and is discounted to £3050 - it's not carbon but the quoted weight is only 200g more than the quoted weight on the Cube website. Geo seems spot on, 490 reach on the XL, HA 66.5, SA 74 (could be a degree steeper I suppose), long stays at 437 and a low BB at -25 drop.

Anyone have any info on the TRS (Not +) wheels? The TRS+ wheels are 1850g so I presume the TRS wheels are the OE versions as I can't see them on the E13 website. If they're arund 1900g then that's an impressive weight for the bike at 13.4kg as the cube with a carbon frame and sub-1700g wheels is 13.2kg.... :0

I look forward to reviews of this one, I think I'm gonna need to add another bike to my 'must demo' list - now, where the hell do I get a Commencal demo ride?

Wow, nice thread revival! 😀

No I didn't, didn't even manage a demo of one - I think they've changed the 2019 line up and out seems very 29er biased, but there might be some bargain 2018 bikes about.
