[Closed] That annoying new chain "stuttering"...

New chain, new jockey wheels, fresh cassette (the previous chain was the first one on it, it didn't even reach 0.75% mark). First few pedal strokes this morning with shifting from granny- to middle-ring resulted in near-chain-suck (I realized what was going to happen so spun the cranks backwards)...

Then for the rest of the ride the chain was doing that annoying, constant jumping on the bottom line (where it returns from the cranks to the derailleur)... It's not the "sliding" - I can put full power on every gear with no problems, it shifts well and crispy, even under pressure.

It never happened before. XT chain, XT jockeys, XT mech... I replace a chain approximately every 1.5 months, when it reaches the 0.75%. That means I've done it a lot of times, so I am aware of DynaSys directional chains, how to guide it through the mech, etc...

Will it disappear after cleaning/re-lubing the chain?

The links are nice and loose. The issue is present constantly, no matter which part of the chain runs into the derailleur.

Worn rings.

Well... Now I remember it was OK on the big ring, which was replaces recently. Only on the middle... Time for a new chainring then! 😆
