Parked at Cannop and went off on a long 30 mile xc taking in all the less well known DH trails. Down south of Parkend ripped a whole in my tubeless tyre...didn't seal...bugger I thought. Stuck a tube in and within three pumps the valve sheared off..........!!! oh no a very long walk back to the van I thought.
Walked 2/3 miles through the woods to F Dean cycles, had no cash with me but asked if I could have a tube If I promised to return and pay later in the day. And they gave me one. I was able to finish the loop and went back on the way home and paid for the tube.
One good turn deserves another so a public thank you and praise for the shop from me.
I love hearing stories like this, given how these days the rant threads outnumber the happy ones 10:1 or more!
