Right, I am visiting BV for a week in August and considering going by train. I like trains. But there will be a bit of faff taking a bike, though it looks do-able from London in a day via Eurostar. Anyone done it, any practical issues? I am thinking particularly about getting from Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon with a bike bag in a taxi. I am not thinking about riding the bike.
