Previously only been to Mallorca but looking to go early this year in Feb so Tenerife looks to be far hotter and more reliable weather.
In Mallorca we've gone with training companies but got a discount as we've self guided instead of the group rides (just prefer it with just my wife and I).
Either want to do that in Tenerife or go fully self supported (normal package deal maybe to make transfers easy??).
Any ideas or preferred locations
The longest single road ascent in europe 😉
Package deal and just get out and ride - be prepared for the masses of germans/french/etc that train there.
Email me if you want any routes.
Nice thanks.
Which resort?
What's the wind like?
Any of them - lived there for 12yrs so know it better than I do here.
Wind can be vicious though in places - depends on time of year as it sits smack between the sahara and the trade winds.
Bump
IIRC you can get free strava premium for a month, so you could use the heat map to see where is popular, then gpx them onto your garmin Rik?.
That's what I did for a recent holiday, but then forgot to cancel it before having to fork out £36 or however much it was... 🙁
Ooops
