I am going for a rare weekend escape for a real mountain bike ride. Family commitments normally make this hard, but the pass has been granted and I am out tomorrow afternoon.
So where to go? It will be Lakeland and as I live south and east in Lancaster it really would be best to be that side of the lumpy bits and not a ride in Ennerdale or Wasdale 
I fancy something chunky and may just go for my default ride of Nan Bield. Or I could go for something lower level around Elterwater...
But I am open to suggestions!?!?
