I might be in the market for a new frame to replace my 853 Inbred and like the look of the new Pipedream Sirius. It's got sliding dropout though and I know if this is a good or a bad thing (although they look more like replaceable rather than slideable). I'd only be wanting to run it geared and I've heard of problems with breaking bolts on some Orange P7s with similar looking dropouts, so I was wondering what people thought of them.
For someone who's just going to run the frame geared are the still an advantage (hub gear dropout later maybe?), a disadvantage (slipping wheel, breaking bolts etc) or just inconsequential?
