We are up in Northumberland for a week from the Bank Holiday weekend. We are camping at Bellingham.
Plan is to go to Kielder maybe once or twice as the little guy loves being outside and taking the bikes. He is only 5 but the Borderline trail looks ideal for him and the Mrs (she will be on a hybrid bike so nothing to rough).
I will prob get an hour or two to go riding myself (depending how long she can distract him on the play park). What are the best options for the red trails? Time wise it looks like it might be a couple of laps of the Deadwater trail? How sever is the black? Have ridden Cannock red and a few of the black trail features plus lakelands stuff etc. The other two look like they would be too long (assuming they take 3 plus hours?). I can do the FTD and the Monkey Trail in 2 hours to give an idea of pace - guessing that Kielder will have more undulation and therefore be slower.
