I use maxxis ikon 3c exo 2.35 front and rear, which I really like, but the mud clearance is tiny with my reba. Any suggestions for a front replacement? Is it ill advised to run a narrow tyre at the front?

I personally wouldn't want to go narrower at the front than the rear. Does the tiny clearance cause you problems with clogging or rubbing? If not then i'd leave it as it is...?

That's because Ikon's are not for mud riding! 8)

it is terrible in mud, wheel stops moving, it was fine when I had a fox fork.

I think the 2.2 is a completely different tread - proper xc/race.

Can't help with clearance but might be interested if you want to sell the 2.35's.. 😉
