Hi All, anyone riding one of the newer Team Marin's? Even better anyone in the Scottish Borders riding one?

I'm considering one as a new bike but fall bang between L and XL sizes. XL looks great reach wise but with a slack (ish) seat angle I'm concerned about being super stretched out when peddeling. I'm normally a bang on large size kinda guy so not used to being stuck between two options! Large on the Marin looks a little short for my tastes but I'm comparing to my current rig which is an aggressive full sus enduro rig and I know the Team Marin is desiged for XC/trail duties.

Anyone got comments on how it sizes up and if the seat angle makes it feel as long as I'm imagining if I go for the larger size? Seat tube seems quite tall so maybe not as bad as it seems on paper?

The bike will be used for local trail duties but also some long distance bike-packing type races so don't want it to feel too small!

I bought a bobcat trail 4 a few months back. Similar geometry if not frame. I'm 6'1.5" and bought the XL. It fits me well but it's only my training bike for getting miles in up and down the canal so no need for a dropper. What are you intending on using it for?

I’d be looking more at the ETT than the reach in this case, especially if comparing with an enduro full sus. Don’t forget that reach will grow a little bit on a Hardtail when sagged.
