Hoping to get to Muker/ Reeth to watch the tour next saturday, thought about parking at Tan Hill and riding our mountain bikes to the Tdf route. can anybody on here tell me if this will be a viable way to go

Assuming you can get parked (im assuming plenty of other people may have the same idea) its a great ride down the Pennine Bridleway to Muker.
Very scenic along that stretch and downhill all the way to Muker. The ride back up is easy enough as well. Once you're down there its easy to get around Swaledale.
Ignore the Tan Hill pub, but the one in Muker is great.
