I went February and it was closed. Does anyone know if it’s now open ?
I’ve got an 1hr or so to kill near Bala and this seams like the nearest decent riding.
Ta
Coed y brenin and the bike shop is open. The cafe is closed.
The trail was open a week ago (well I assume it was - there no signs saying it wasn't but we stayed on the other side of the road).
There was this thread about it last week.

As above - it's open, but no cafe.

That would be far too sensible. When I went in the winter, no signs to say it was closed, got across the road and along the first section before tress blocked the trail. Even trying to by pass the section further on more trees were down.
All it needed was a sign / website to say it was closed but nothing !
Ended up doing a road ride from Bala, which turned out to be disastrous in itself. The road around Lake Vyrnwy was closed, but there were no signs on the Bala side of the hill suggesting this was the case so ended up only doing half a ride.
