I like bright, colourful bikes. All my previous bikes have been bold, ‘proper’ colours - red, blue, yellow etc - my last one was lime green.
However, my current bike - a 2021 / 2 model Stumpjumper is literally the most boring colour going - grey, and matte grey at that!

Anyway, I love the bike itself, and fully aware this is a third world problem (and I’m certainly not wasting time or money changing the frame just for colours) so I’m looking for inspiration for how people have tarted up their boring colour bikes! Guess I’m thinking grips, fork lowers (eventually) and other finishing kit. Any suggestions / pictures / advice welcomed!

Not my bike but I took inspiration most from the black and purple Santa Cruz about half way down the first page
Quick and easy way is to get something from the likes of DYEDBRO. My other half just got a very black Levo, ordered some retro zebra stripes, bike no longer bland

Get a custom paint job. Get whatever you really want.

Thanks everyone. @tomhoward, yours look great (particularly the purple Pivot!) but probably can’t afford to get it repainted - and also uncertain what this would do to the warranty, which is something I’m keen to preserve. I like the look of the sticker kits but unsure of how good a job I’d do of them! Unless some companies fit them for you and properly prep the frame? So far think I’m most inspired by something like the Santa Cruz linked above - keep the frame subtle but add plenty of a colour that pops.
Plenty of painters don’t affect warranty (both mine are still covered), as long as they don’t use heat. Single main colour with contrasting logos start at around £250-300 IIRC

Painters normally have to be approved previously, and I don’t know what Specialized say, but Fat creations, for example, do loads of them, so don’t imagine it’s impossible to get approved.
I gave my Rune a tart up with a Dyed Bros kit and some blue or bronze Burgtec kit.
The Dyed bros wasn't hard to fit, you just need a heat gun to warm it up a bit.
